Mindwise is a leading multi-disciplinary allied health clinic, currently searching for a permanent full-time Senior Office Administrator.

Our main location in Bankstown is a fast-paced, and ever-growing allied health practice with over 20 staff members and growing! We are run and led solely by mental health professionals, so we know exactly what employees need and want to be content and thriving in their workplace!

The successful candidate will work as part of a team with our existing 2 admin staff. They will ideally have a minimum of 2 years admin experience in an allied health private practice

  • Can perform both general reception duties as well as practice management responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

General reception duties:

  • Welcoming clients
  • Answering phone and managing enquiries
  • Calendar management
  • Processing payments and rebates
  • Invoicing
  • General office up-keep

Role duties:

  • The overall management of and administration of the practice, casual reception staff and clients
  • Anticipating needs of the practice ahead of time and completing tasks to ensure smooth day to day operations
  • Providing assistance to clinicians and Director as required
  • Liaising with other health professionals and agencies as required
  • Assisting in marketing and social media tasks as required
  • Accounts payable and receivable

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Have strong experience in reception roles (medical receptionist preferred but not essential)
  • Previous experience in practice management/senior admin role is required
  • Have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent computer literacy and ability to navigate/problem-solve general IT issues – telephone IT support is available
  • Be able to prioritise, multi-task, work quickly and cope well in times of pressure
  • Ability to learn and develop strong navigating skills in our practice management system
  • Have the ability to learn and grow in this role

Registered Psychologist

About Us
Mindwise (previously known as Mindwise Psychology Practice) has transitioned into an allied health service with a multidisciplinary team. We’re seeking a Registered Psychologist to join our friendly and supportive team based in Bankstown NSW. The successful candidate will be working with individuals across the lifespan in the areas of assessment, treatment, report writing, etc.

Ability to counsel in a second language fluently is preferred but not necessary

Requirements

The successful candidate will posess the following:

· Hold full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA, with minimum of 2 years experience as a registered psychologist in a therapeutic setting

· Professional indemnity insurance

· Experienced in working with a wide range of mental health disorders

· Able to work independently and autonomously in their preferred location

· Exceptional time-management and organisational skills

· High-level interpersonal skills

· Able to work with a wide range of clientele across the lifespan

Paediatric Occupational Therapist

We are searching for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join an already existing team of Occupational Therapists within a multidisciplinary allied health practice.

Mindwise is a leading allied health clinic with a purpose built sensory room and OT gym. We are seeking a candidate that has experience in disabilities, and ideally assistive technology and home modifications – or at least be open to learning and completing training in this area (training provided by Mindwise)

About the Role:

This role will consist of assessment, therapy, and report writing as required. If you enjoy helping children and their families, then this job is for you. You will be joining our team of existing senior Occupational Therapists, OT students and Allied health Assistants.

About the Case Load:

As a practice catering to all individuals across the lifespan, our referrals include a mixed case load of children and adults. The successful candidate will work primarily with children, whilst also gaining experience and mentoring with adult clients (optional as per candidate’s interests). The candidate will have input into which referrals will be assigned to them based on their experience and area of competency.

Weekly guidance and support will be provided by a Senior Occupational Therapist.

There will also be autonomy to manage your own calendar so that you have enough time for notes/report writing, to maintain a positive work-life balance.

We are currently seeking any of the following:

Full-time Occupational Therapist;
Part-time Occupational Therapist; or
Contractor Occupational Therapist

Whilst experience is preferred, new graduates are welcome to apply and will be provided with support and guidance. On the job training, support, supervision and professional development will be provided by a senior Occupational Therapist.
